4th of July Themed Crafts

Independence Day is this Thursday! Are you ready for this holiday and all the festivities? In case you need something to help you get into the spirit of the holiday, the Longview at Georgetown Blog is sharing a few 4th of July crafts that you can make at your Georgetown, MA apartment. 

DIY Tie Dye American Flag Towel from Live Free Creative

Whether you are heading to the pool or taking a trip to the beach, you will want to bring this star spangled banner inspired towel along. This craft is fun and easy and can be enjoyed for many more years and summers to come. You will need a white towel and a tie dye kit with red and blue dye. 

Patriotic Flower Pot from Lolly Jane

For this craft, you get to paint a flower pot to look like the American flag! Plant red, white, and blue flowers in the pot to enhance this effect. You will need foam brushes, a 10” flower pot, 3M painter’s tape, acrylic or chalky paint in red, white, and blue, and small star stickers. 

DIY American Flag Corn Hole from Collectively Christine 

After making this craft, you will not only have a proud display of your patriotic spirit to show for it, but you will also have a fun game to play with family and friends! Follow the tutorial to build your own cornhole set or buy one and then decorate it. 

American Flag Luminaries from Keep Calm and Decorate 

Pickle jars get a second life as glowing luminaries decoupaged with stars and stripes. Not a pickle fan? Mason jars also work. Set them on your porch or balcony and light them at night for a beautiful sight.
